Hi, I’m Ashley Ragan, the Branch Manager and Loan Officer at Mountain Country Mortgage in Flagstaff, Arizona. With over 15 years of experience in the mortgage industry, my journey has been one of growth, determination, and a passion for helping others succeed. I’m excited to share a little about myself and what I believe makes our team and our company special. 

 

I began my career in the food and beverage industry, where I developed strong customer service and operational skills. After several years in that field, I realized I was ready for a new challenge and a career where I could make a real impact. About 15 years ago, I made the transition into the mortgage industry, starting as a part-time Administrative Assistant at with my current team in Flagstaff. Even though I didn’t have prior mortgage experience, I quickly proved myself, and within a month, I was promoted to a full-time Processor. That role marked the beginning of my rapid career progression, and I worked my way through various positions, including Processor, Closer, Funder, Underwriter, and Loan Officer. Each role helped me build a comprehensive understanding of the mortgage process from start to finish. 

My career continued to advance as I took on leadership roles, first as Assistant Branch Manager and now as Branch Manager here at Mountain Country Mortgage. In this role, I have the privilege of leading a talented team and ensuring we provide the highest level of service to our clients. 

 

I’m passionate about mentorship and professional development. My goal is to create a supportive environment where my team members feel empowered and have the resources they need to succeed. Whether through training, guidance, or just being there to listen, I am dedicated to helping our loan officers grow in their careers. It’s incredibly rewarding to see them reach their potential and achieve their goals. 

 

Outside of work, I’m deeply involved in my local community. I volunteer at the Flexstep Food Kitchen, sponsor local little league teams, and participate in various community initiatives. Giving back is important to me, and it’s something I prioritize in both my personal and professional life.
